Genesis 19:27  "And Abraham got up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord".  Abraham was a man of faith.  In fact, he is often referred to as an example of faith for us today.  This verse gives us some insight into his relationship with God.  Abraham had a place to go where he could be with God.  Whether is was a physical place or a spiritual one isn't the most important thing to know.  Just the fact he had in his life a place where he went on a regulare basis to pray, to get alone with God, to worship is the important thing.  If we want to be a people of faith it is necessary that each of us have such a place in our lives.  A place where we can stand before the Lord.  What a great help in time of need to already have a place established with God where we can go.  And in time of blessing we can go to that same place to give God our praise and worship.  It is a place that has become familiar to our spiritual person and where God has become accustom to meeting us there.  It is spiritually important that we have such a place established in our lives.
