There used to be a limousine service in Visalia called "Status Quo".  As we know the status quo means just leave things as they are.  When I think of a "limo" I think of all the comforts of such a car.  A lot of room.  Comfortable seating.  Plush interior.  Cushioned ride.  And so on.  Yes, it is comfortable to ride in such luxury, but when it comes to what God wants of us, I think it is so much more than the status quo.  We can get very comfortable with the way things are and sacrifice the way things could be.  Brother Kevin McPhaill did such a great job preaching on this line Sunday night.  So here I am tagging on to his thought.  I really don't want to ride on the status quo, I want to go beyond that to excell for God.  If everybody did just a little more, it would add up to a lot!  So let's be encouraged to do more for the Kingdom of God.
