Acts 7:32 "I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob".
There is a wonderful understanding of God given in this verse. God introduces Himself as the God of individuals. This tells us that God cares about you as an individual. Yes, He is the God of the multitudes, but how many times in scripture did Jesus stop and minister to one individual. Blind Bartimaeus cried out as Jesus passed by with a crowd around Him, yet, when Jesus heard him cry out, "Jesus stood still" and then ministered healing to the blind man. Zacchaeus was up in a tree when Jesus called to him. Salvation came to his house that day. If God will do that for them, He will also help you. It is important that we realize our God is concerned about each of us, no matter who you are, what personality you have, or your social status because it is God that makes the difference in our lives. And He can do for you what no other power can do, if you will trust Him enough to reach out to Him.
